Eaton UPSgrade Trade-in Programme

Register Your UPSgrade

Overview

What is the Eaton UPSgrade Programme?

The Eaton UPSgrade Programme is a free end-of-life service for businesses replacing an old UPS. When you purchase an eligible new Eaton single-phase UPS through IP Trading, Eaton will organise the pickup and certified recycling of your old unit at no extra cost.

It doesn't matter what brand your old UPS is or what condition it's in. APC, CyberPower, legacy Eaton, Vertiv, all brands are accepted. The programme covers the collection, the recycling, and the paperwork.

Other programmes ask you to drive to a drop-off point, only service metro areas, or limit trade-ins to their own brand. This one doesn't. The Eaton UPSgrade Programme covers all of Australia and New Zealand, costs nothing, and issues a formal recycling certificate once your equipment has been processed.

Not sure which Eaton UPS is right for your environment? Use our Eaton UPS Selector Guide to compare the 3, 5 and 9 Series, or browse the full Eaton range to find the right model.

  • Free Nationwide Pickup

Pick up of your old UPS from your site at no extra cost. Any brand, any condition, anywhere in Australia and New Zealand.

  • Formal Recycling Certificate

Once recycling is complete, you receive official documentation confirming compliant disposal. Useful for ESG reporting, government procurement, and internal audits.

  • Zero Disposal Cost

Proper disposal of lead-acid batteries and UPS units normally costs money. Under the UPSgrade Programme, collection and certified recycling are fully covered. Nothing to pay.

  • Better Eaton Technology

Replacing before failure eliminates the risk of a critical outage and its associated costs. Eaton's 5P Gen2 and 9PX Gen2 range offers improved efficiency and longer battery life.

  • Supports Your ESG Strategy

Disposing of a UPS in general waste may breach environmental regulations. The UPSgrade Programme handles certified, landfill-free recycling through an approved process. Keeping your organisation compliant.

  • Eaton Valued Partner

IP Trading is recognised as an Eaton Valued Partner. Faster processing, genuine stock, and a single point of contact from purchase through to your recycling certificate.
